Tax Bills are mailed once a year with 4 quarters on each bill. The bills are usually mailed in July.
Due dates are as follows:
- 1st Quarter - February 1st
- 2nd Quarter - May 1st
- 3rd Quarter - August 1st
- 4th Quarter - November 1st
Each quarter has a 10-day grace period which includes the due date. If the 10th falls on a weekend or holiday, the grace period is automatically extended to the next business day

Payments may be made either by mail or at the Tax Collection Office at the Manor House.

If mailing your payment, you can simply mail your check with the appropriate stub from your bill; your cancelled check will be your receipt.
Please note you may not post date your checks, the Tax Collector can't accept them. If you send a post dated check it will be returned. Please use the current date that you are writing the check.
If you make your payment at the office, please be sure to bring your entire bill with you so it may be receipted.
Interest Rate for Delinquent Taxes
Taxes are considered delinquent when received after the grace period for the date which they were due. Delinquent taxes are charged interest pursuant to state statute at the rate of 8% for the first $1,500 and 18% for any amount over $1,500 of a delinquency. The rate is an annual rate, but accrues daily. Any payments towards a delinquent account will first be applied towards interest with the balance of the payment applied towards principal. Payments on delinquent accounts may not be made for less than the total interest due on the account.

Tax Sale Information
Taxes are a charge against the property and not a personal debt. In order to enforce the collection of delinquent taxes, the Tax Collector must hold a Tax Sale each year. At the Sale, a lien is sold for the amount of delinquent taxes and water/sewer charges, plus interest and costs of Sale. The Sale is done by public auction.
Prior to the Tax Sale, a list of properties on the Sale is published in The Burlington County Times and a notice is sent to the property owner. Once the list of property owners has been provided to the Burlington County Times for publication, names cannot be removed. This includes those who have remitted payment to the Tax Collectors Office after submittal of public notice, but prior to tax sale. To be removed from the Sale, full payment of the amounts to go to Sale must be made prior to the date of the Sale.
