About Lieutenant Shepard
Appointed as Lieutenant of Police on May 1, 2018, Lt. Shepard has been serving ETPD since 2008. A graduate of the Cape May County Police Academy, Lt. Shepard would continue his law enforcement career having worked for Wildwood P.D. and Pemberton Borough P.D. prior to being hired by ETPD. Lt. Shepard was honored as Officer of the Year multiple times and had served previously as a Sergeant and Patrolman. As Lieutenant of Police his duties include supervision of the Patrol Division and Detective Bureau, maintaining and updating records, as well as the Field Traning Officer Program.
