Please complete the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission application for a Temporary Handicap Placard.
- The application must be accompanied by a check or money order in the amount of $4.00 made payable to "NJMVC". Please note that NO CASH will be accepted.
- A temporary handicap placard is valid for six months after issuance from the Police Department.
- Applications for a permanent handicap placard must be obtained through the NJ DMV, are valid for three years, and are free of charge.
