Economic Development Advisory Committee

The Economic Development Advisory Committee is a seven member board, and meets as needed in the Council Room of the Eastampton Municipal Building located at 12 Manor House Court. The EDAC makes recommendations to the Land Use Planning Board on the economic development of Eastampton Township.  

If you are interested in a property to develop in Eastampton please contact Kim-Marie White at 609-267-5723 ext. 209 or email kwhite@eastampton.com.  You will need to provide the address for the property of interest, what specifically will be done with the property, and have a concept plan in order to schedule the initial meeting.  If the proposed plan is amendable it would then proceed to go before the EDAC for review. 

EDAC board members are made up of the following classes:

  • Class A:  a person knowledgeable in economic development and regional planning, local real estate market and/or needs of the local business community who may reside outside the Township.
  • Class B: one member of the Township Council
  • Class C: Township Manager
  • Class D: one member of the Land Use Planning Board
  • Class E: two members who shall hold no other municipal office, position or employment.
