Registrar of Vital Statistics

The Registrar of Vital Statistics records all marriages, births and deaths which occur in Eastampton Township. The responsibilities of Registrar include: processing marriage applications, issuing marriage licenses on the basis of the application, and providing certified copies of the marriage license.

Apply for the Marriage License in the New Jersey municipality where either party resides. 

If neither applicant is a New Jersey resident, submit the application in the municipality where the marriage ceremony will be performed. In this case, the license is only valid in the issuing municipality.

 A Marriage License may not be used outside of New Jersey, and a license issued in another state may not be used in New Jersey.
